The Annual Constable Diaz Crawfish Boil returns to the Fonteno Pavilion on May 12. Each year, Precinct 2 Constable Diaz invites everyone across the Greater Houston Area to come together with the communities he serves to celebrate what makes life in Precinct 2 so special with a fun, family-friendly crawfish boil. It’s a community picnic for a community that runs from Jacinto City to Webster, from Pearland to Pasadena.
Great crawfish will be served up hot, spicy and fresh by the Cajun cooking masters at Blue Bayou Café, for only $3.99 a pound, along with a wide variety of food from vendors and food trucks. The air will ring with the infectious sounds of Zydeco music, the official music of outdoor fun in the bayou country, from Zydecreole. Slayer’s Reptile Ranch will provide educational and entertaining reptile displays, giving patrons a chance to take selfies with some of our most awesome bayou denizens.
There are more great photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite cars. Towmater, Lighting Mcqueen, The Sheriff, Tippy the Tractor and Red the Firetruck will all be present courtesy of On Site Towing. There will be a live and silent auction offering a wide array of goods, services, art, and more from across the community. Contests will bring the communities together in a spirit of fun competition, letting patrons root for their favorites.
The Chris Diaz Annual Crawfish Boil is a fundraiser for the campaign to reelect Christopher Diaz as Constable of Precinct 2, allowing him to continue to serve the community he loves with integrity and dedication.
